This policy describes how information is handled when you use the TV Remote Control application (“the App”). The App lets you control compatible TVs on your local network (for example Android TV / Google TV over a secure connection, and certain Samsung models over HTTP on the local network).
The publisher of the App is the controller of any personal data relating to your use of the App. To exercise your rights or contact us about privacy, email: xeixe86@gmail.com.
The App runs primarily on your phone or tablet and processes local data for its operation:
This data is not automatically sent to our servers: the App does not include a publisher-managed “cloud account” service to store your TV list. Control traffic is between your device and the TV (or other devices on your local network), depending on the connection mode you use.
The App shows ads through Google AdMob (Google LLC). AdMob may use advertising identifiers, ad performance data, and, depending on your region and settings, information related to personalized ads consent.
Google processes such data under its policies. You can read how Google uses information here:
In regions where applicable law requires it (for example the EEA or UK), consent or ad preference messaging may be shown by Google or the system, depending on OS version and device settings.
The App may request or use, as needed:
The App does not use the microphone for voice control in this version.
Sensitive Android TV pairing data is stored on the device using Android’s encryption mechanisms where applicable. Keep your device protected (screen lock, updated system) to reduce risk of unauthorized local access.
Local data remains on the device until you uninstall the App or clear app data in Android Settings, or until you use in-app options to forget devices or related data, where available.
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child’s information was collected improperly, contact us at the address in Section 1.
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the App or the law. The “Last updated” date will change accordingly. Continued use of the App after changes are published means you accept the revised policy, unless the law requires otherwise.
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable law, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability regarding personal data we process as controller, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, email xeixe86@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
